Live Tracker

Positions are propagated in your browser every second from a dated orbital element snapshot. Each object carries the epoch its orbit was fitted at, so the readout always states how old the elements are and how far a position may have drifted. Give the tracker your coordinates and it also reports where each object stands from your own site and when it next comes over — and pin any instant to ask the same questions of a chosen date rather than of now.

Uncertainty is an order-of-magnitude guide derived from element age and orbit regime, not a formal covariance. While the clock is live, positions are recomputed every second from the epoch above; pinned, they are computed for the instant on the time machine and the age is measured to that instant.

Pin an instant and every reading answers for it — where each object stands, what is above your horizon, and when the next pass falls. Movement away from the fitted epoch widens the uncertainty printed above, and the pass search stops entirely beyond a month either side.

Sub-satellite point and speed, recomputed every second while the clock is live and computed for the chosen instant when it is pinned. Selecting a row drives the map.
